I was born in Tucson and have lived most of my life in Vail, Arizona. I have always loved plants, but my passion for fungal plant pathology began when working in a Plant Pathology lab. I am currently a MS student in the Plant Pathology department advised by Dr. Betsy Arnold. My research will focus on lettuce endophytes and Fusarium wilt of lettuce.
